In this short guide, I will try to explain very easily and synthetically how to prepare the lighting in your diorama and / or crib.

The importance of lights in the crib and in the diorama.

The lighting of the crib / diorama allows you to create and diversify the scenes according to the various phases of the day: from the soft brushstrokes of yellow of dawn to the pink of the graceful dawn, to the warm colors of the day, to the reddish of the sunset, up to the intense blue of the evening with the thousand shining stars and the comet that marks the intense and immense light.

The right lighting arrangement

Regardless of the specific choice of the model of lights, you will have to commit yourself to prepare them optimally in every corner of the crib / diorama.

It is important that the lights give the idea of living and harmonious scenes, that they are distributed evenly over the entire surface of your work, avoiding seeing dark corners in contrast with areas that are too illuminated.

The diodes can be powered by current or battery, depending on what are your needs, know that the LED diode is born to be powered at 2.8-3.2v, but with the appropriate resistances can be powered at 12v with power supply or even directly to the current of the house 220v.

For the various connections, whatever the power supply, the LED diode must be connected to the current generating source and / or to the subsequent LED diode, respecting the polarity: + with + and - with -.
